"Charlotte Kemp is a classic Playboy Playmate from the 1980s and she's been writing a book of centerfold stories for many years to share with us. A couple of my own stories are included and Char as we call her, gives us some insight on it!" 

1. Charlotte I understand you have been writing this memoir for quite a while. What inspired you to do this book?

It is not so much of a memoir as it is stories from Icons, photographers, and models.  I wanted some kind of representation of our lives that have never been brought to the media.  I knew 20 years ago when I started this book that we as women had very poignant, tragic, interesting stories to tell that the PR firm would never tell. The book will engage readers to have a glimpse into our real lives and not just what everyone thinks we are?  

2. What would you like readers to learn from this book?

I really want readers to take a look into, "the real girls next door" lives and how we feel, felt and understand us a little more as women and the photographers who helped us look like goddesses no matter what......

3. What makes the Playmate sisterhood so special in your opinion?

We have a special bond in that out of 1 million submissions per year,?,  there are only 12 of us chosen.  Even if we were not the Playmate of the Year, we are blessed to become the Icons we are.  Therefore we are like a sorority of the best of the best and in our microcosm we have to protect our name and each other.

4. Is there a book tour planned? 

Yes, it starts in Houston and then the rest will be put on Centerfolds by Charlotte Kemp   I update it frequently....and yes my dear you will have to sign...Your pictures and stories are a part of what makes this book special... 

5. What's next for Charlotte Kemp?

Alot of work with getting this book out, and starting the next book which will be "Centerfolds Two"  as a working title.  I am finishing my second book of short stories and poetry.  The first being "For My Eyes Only".  Just writing and living my bucket list!!!
