Gloria you just completed a comedy starring my hubby, tell everyone how this came to be?
The Brentwood Connection came about because of my own personal life experience
I wanted to express my feelings toward women that have gone through divorce after being married to very wealthy billionaires and felt hopeless . By doing this film I felt completed and I show that women no matter how old we are we could always conquer the world by working hard and getting back what we lost by making the wrong choices.
How did you come to develop this project?
I wrote a small synopsis with my partner and I started asking all my good friends that have great credits on film to be a part of this great project. My dream started getting together and it was a matter of weeks to shoot.
Do you prefer doing comedies?
Love producing and directing and acting on films I think life is a great teacher we have laughs we have sadness but above all we have great lessons in this film was about showing how wonderful life could turn around in one second if we work hard at it.
Did you use real life experience in writing some of these characters?
Having all my dear friends together for this film was a blessing all my friends try to bring me great actors and it was an honor for me to work with such a talent especially Ronn Moss that really was an amazing experience he really did an amazing job very proud of having him in my film since we had limited hours to shoot he was a great trooper. Maria Conchita Alonso , Sofia Milos , Tina Hillstrom and everybody that work in my film was super. Tina Hillstrom was amazing. Thanks to Tina my film got the comedy that I was looking for. Love her.
Tell us why Marilyn Monroe is so special to you.
Marylyn Monroe is very special to me since my father use to call me his little Marilyn Monroe I had related to her in every way specially her body shape and her personality . I just love who she was and how she looked it. I even name my beautiful Maltese after her and she's one of the stars of my film , Marilyn Monroe (Mimi ) which is my best companion friend.
The film has gotten already awards as The Best Romantic Comedy at the New York Independent international film Festival. We are set to do the Palm Beach International Film Festival in a couple of weeks which I'm expecting to get other awards and looking forward to make it into a feature film or sell it to the network as a comedy .
I hope that my short film The Brentwood Connection will give every woman in the world a message that we could always conquer the world if we work hard at it so our dreams come true no matter how difficult it is to do so. Pride or no pride just make it happen. Legion of Angels.
