Lesley-Anne you have had quite a amazing career, starring opposite of some of the sexiest men of our time, is there anyone who has stood out for you?
Jimmy Stewart because he is Jimmy Stewart! And he was so humble. I really think the men who were gentlemen cannot be faulted or beaten in there importance in my life, David Niven, Don Siegal, Sean Connery, Adam West, Geoffrey Unsworth, Jack Cardiff, Elizabeth Taylor, Liv Ullman, Robert Duval and even though I never worked with them but knew them Fred Astaire and Cary Grant.

Is there still someone that you would like to work with?
Kevin Costner except I would not be able to do ANYTHING I love him soooo much.

You were nominated for a Golden Globe for the series, North and South, is there a type of role that you want to play that you haven’t yet?
I am to old now but Joan of Arc.

You are very passionate about giving back to the American Cancer Society, is it personal for you?
Of course cancer is personal. I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

I recently had a cancer scare myself and my mother died of breast cancer at age 50, does cancer run in your family?
No it does not run in my family. Cancer should be personal to all of us, no family is no touched.

LesleyAnneDown-2You have been married three times, would you say the third time is a charm?
Seeing as we have just had our 27th anniversary I would say YES 3rd times a charm. Book a local whore in Amsterdam fast!

What's your recipe to make your marriage to Don work?
We are always happy. I have the perfect life. What makes it work? Necessity. Consideration makes a marriage work.

 


You starred as Jackie Marone on “The Bold and The Beautiful” with my husband for many years, will you ever go back to soaps?
I maybe would do a short stint but never a "I give you my right leg and first born son".

    Much with this depends on the foods you are eating, once you are eating them as well as the amount and type of exercise you happen to be doing.
    Dieting is approximately breaking habits and learning new ones, which doesn't come naturally at all.
    Every time I have tried to go "all in" at once, I end up losing,
    whether in Vegas or wanting to keep away from my neighbors BBQ.
