Laughter heals your mind, body and soul.
We recently had a wonderful house party filled with music, laughter, great food and wine, and amazing friends. The energy was so presently happy that everyone could feel it. No one was fake, phony or there for anything other than having a great time and the laughter was infectious. I find laughter to be very healing and want to experience that as much as possible in life. Why would you want to be miserable, unhappy or sad? What does that do to your overall well being.
Sadness and misery can be replaced with happiness and joy if that is your will. Simply make the choice and surround yourself with people that make you feel happy. Laughter can heal your body and spirit and give you a light and a glow that draws those very people to you. Since I love to be happy and highly recommend it, trust me I've had my fair share of unhappiness and misery in my 50 years on this planet. I feel lighter and my energy is lifted as a result of lots of laughter.
I also believe that laughter can be the best medicine when it comes to healing illnesses. As an alternative to prescription drugs, I'd choose laughter as medicinal healing personally. When you feel like wallowing in misery, despair of grief, pick yourself up and think about what would make you laugh in that moment and focus on that. Simply changing your focus can change your mood. Remember you have a choice, so choose happiness and laugh!
